"Innisfail" House Kit |
Innisfail Homestead (the combination of the cottage and the house) was where my four brothers and I were born and raised. It was originally owned by my grandparents - on my mother's side - but after WW2 the property was divided up into seven Soldier Settlement blocks and my mother and father got the Homestead block. Unfortunately the homestead was burnt to the ground in 1972. All but my youngest brother, who was in High School, were out in the workforce and mostly living elsewhere at the time of the fire.

"Araluen Cottage" Kit - Still Coming! |
The model pictured is the original prototype and doesn't have the windows and doors fitted. They are supplied in the kit.
I lived in the real Araluen Cottage - a fettlers's cottage built round 1920 - for about 18years, until 2004. The side walls will be a frame with a large window to each room so that they can be viewed without having to leave the roof removable. The frames can be left removable for easy changing of pieces within the rooms.

'Tylden Townhouse' Kit - Coming! |
Tylden Townhouse is a two story modern style terrace house. Terrace houses in Sydney typically came in blocks (six or more attached to one another), and they are similar to the row houses of the US. It will come with stairs (not shown) to the left or right. A series of townhouses could then be built in differing styles/colour schemes and placed side by side to form a whole block. They will have framed side walls to form large windows to each room. It comes complete with all doors - internal and external - and windows for front and back. Floors and walls are engraved as a guide for painting and/or placement of printies, and for ease of setting the walls in place.
