Pictured below are some items that I have cut on the Spiralux Shapersaw, which I talk about at the bottom of this page. The two coins pictured are the US penny and an Australian 5 cent and they are both almost the same size. The silhouettes in the first picture are about 1/2" tal, the aeroplanes are about an 1/8", and the rocking horse is 1/4" long.

SCROLL SAWING BOOK
I have written a Scroll Sawing booklet on 'Tips and Techniques' in the use of a scroll or electric fret saw. This book is 50 pages full of information, pictures and diagrams to help you with your scroll sawing, especially when making dollhouse miniatures. It is written in 'plain talk' and has a chatty style with some 'Aussie' speak dotted throughout. Hope you like it!
The booklet is AU$16 + shipping.
Or for the USA or Canada only - US$18 plus shipping and available from:

Spiralux Shapercraft Shapersaw!
The Shapersaw is an electromagnetic fret saw. Similar to a scroll saw, but less in power. They were made by Spiralux in England, but production ceased a few years ago. There were two different models made and they are IDEAL for miniature making, model making, model railroad and any items that you wish to cut in thin MDF, plywood or fine timber. It takes an ordinary pinless 5" scroll saw blade. It has a vibratory cutting action, which makes this a very safe saw for miniature work.
From time to time I have a Second Hand/Used one available for sale! I clean, check and adjust these saws before I offer them for sale. If you are interested in obtaining one please contact me through the 'Contact' page for availability and price.
International shipping is expensive, but surface mail is a little over half the price of airmail, so if you are willing to wait a couple of months to receive the saw, then it is well worth it. Also prices I quote will be in AU$s, so the US $ amount will be less.
Early model Shapersaw and late model Shapersaw!

A 'step up' voltage converter will be required to operate the saw in the USA. They run on 240v at 40 watts. Here are several websites, where converters can be purchased at reasonable prices. I recommend that you get at least a 100w one.
